Spybot Installation instructions

Step 1: Click on the Spybot link. This will take you to Spybot’s download page.

Step 2: Click on the Blue Cube. A box should appear. If not look for the vanilla bar at the top of your browser. Click on it and click download or install. Then the box will appear.

Step 3: Click Run. Another box will appear. The publisher should be Safer Networking. If it is not them don’t download.

Step 4: Click Run. A box appears. Choose your language.

Step 5: Click Ok. A box appears says welcome to Spybot.

Step 6: Click Next, Check I accept, Click next, Click next, Click next, Click next, Click next, Finally Install. When the program is done installing click finish and the program will start up.

Step 7: Click Next 3 times on the box. Then click start using program.

Step 8: Click on Search For Updates. A box will appear.

Step 9: Click Continue. A box will appear. Check all the updates.

Step 10: Click Download. Click Ok when it finishes. Then exit on the download box.

Step 11: Click on Immunize a new window appears look for the green + sign that says immunize.

Step 12: Click Green + Immunize on top. When it’s done, Click the Search & Destroy Tab. A new window will open every time you update re-immunize.

Step 13: Click Check for Problems. The scanner will start. It will take a long time so go do something or sit and watch. Don’t try to open to many things while it is running.

Step 14: Make sure all the boxes have checks in them and click fix select problems.

You are now finished. If there was something it could not remove a box will appear telling you so, and that it needs to run at system's start up to remove it. Click OK and restart. Other wise you have finished. Just click the red x on top right corner to close.
